ReplyDeleteVery creative and interesting words you chose to use. Your third story confuses me. I wonder why rotten potatoes scattered the narrator's life, or what rotten potatoes represent. I think you did a decent job on using the "ice-berg effect" to write these 6 six-word stories.
ReplyDeleteI feel I have seen the "prank" story somewhere before . . .
I enjoy the lightheartedness of each of the story. The speakers in stories 2 and 5 are honest and frank, and I find great joy in imagining these characters. The use of positive and light words also made this very pleasing and simple to read. There is definitely a lot of modern culture infused into these stories, and I especially see it in the resemblances to modern sitcoms, where marriage issues are a source of light comedic writing. Story one alludes to a meme, and it is creatively used in this collection of six word stories.
